Tablet Weaving: Sulawesi Designs

Friday, April 17th 1 Day Class
9am-5pm with 12pm-2pm break

Come learn a tablet weaving technique from Indonesia.  Bands created on the island of Sulawesi in Indonesia have beautiful patternwork and color interactions.  This three-color patternwork is fun to weave.

Materials fee: $15 – for 20 cards and shuttle

Level:  Intermediate, you should have done a little tablet weaving before this class (John’s previous classes count!)

A NOTE ABOUT THE CLASS:

  • Scissors
  • four balls or cones of 10/2 mercerized or unmercerized cotton or #10 crochet thread in three different colors.
  • Bring two balls of one of those colors. At least ½ ounce of each.
