Half day class, offered twice, because it’s that yummy
Thursday, April 21st – 2pm-5pm
Saturday, April 23rd – 2pm-5pm
There are two things I love about sheep – their wool and their cheese!
Come explore both in this spinning and snacking class. We’ll sample five different commercially prepared fibers and fiber blends that are from double coated and primitive breed sheep, fibers like Shetland, Icelandic, and North Ronaldsay . We’ll talk spinning how-tos, do you spin them woolen or worsted? How to spin them fine and how to spin them fat, and of course discuss beautiful things to make with them.
I did mention sheep cheese right? In between spinning we will nibble several sheep cheeses and tasty accompaniments.
If you would like to bring wine, beer or cider to accompany your cheese and spinning you absolutely may.
