Come explore both fiber and cheese in this spinning and snacking class. This year we’ll sample five different commercially prepared fiber blending wool and linen, adding in a little silk and even ramie along the way. We’ll talk spinning how-tos, do you spin them woolen or worsted? How do you finish them? How to spin them fine and how to spin them fat, and of course, discuss beautiful things to make with them.
I did mention sheep cheese right? In between spinning we will nibble several cheeses and accompanying goodies. This year since we are celebrating blends in our spinning, we’ll be tasting mixed milk cheeses, sheep, cow and goat in several blends.
