TAUGHT BY Charan Sachar

Choosing Color for Texture

Half day, offered once
Friday, April 21st — 2pm-5pm

Do you get easily drawn to colorful braids and art batt? If you’re like me, you do, and like me you probably wonder the best way to spin that fantastic fiber to make most of it. In this class, we will sample different textured yarns with the focus on highlighting color and texture. Sometimes texture can save stashed fiber that you’re not crazy about and sometimes it can push the color you love to something even more fantastic. This class investigates the intersection between color and texture.

Materials Fee: $35

Level: Familiar with your wheel, can spin a continuous thread and make a plied yarn
